Beginning on January 7th 2015 the first class of Tai Chi for Arthritis - Winter Session begins at Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site. We are excited to offer an 8 week program sponsored by a NY Department of Health grant in association with the international Tai Chi for Health programs and the Arthritis Foundation. With two classes per week, this program is intended as an introduction for beginner level adults that are seeking fulfillment and wellness through the ancient method of Tai Chi. The classes will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10am and will last about an hour each. The last class will be on February 27th. There is a limited enrollment for this course so please call to register before December 31st. Sorry, there will be no drop inís after the first week. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced today as a graceful form of exercise and involves a series of gentle, slow and focused movements. This program incorporates Qi-gong breathing and also attention to balance for those that may be at risk of falling. For more information or to register, please contact David at Schoharie Crossing
