See classic tractors and new tractors, representing the growth of farming technology from the 1920s until today, or take advantage of all the delightful activities that happen every day at The Farmers' Museum. Admission to Tractor Fest is included with paid museum admission: $12 adults (13+), $10.50 seniors (65+), $6 children (7-12). Children age 6 and younger are free, as well as members of the New York State Historical Association.

The 6th Annual Utica Zombiewalk

Saturday, October 18th Zombie Makeup & Prep @ 5pm Zombie Walk @ 7pm The zombie The Utica Zombie Walk is an all-age, free event that allows participants to act out a simulated zombie invasion while also benefiting selected local charities. The cost of registration is free, but participants are asked to bring one non-perishable pet or human food item to the Zombie Walk whether you register online or just participate in the walk. Spectators are also encouraged to bring a food item. This year's charities are the Food Bank of Central New York and the Stevens-Swan Humane Society. CLICK HERE to register for the Zombie Walk! At the Stanley, in addition to the Zombie Walk and food drive, there will be live music from the glam rock band "Wicked," the premiere of the short film Zombies in Utica 2, and more. The food drive, makeup and preparation of the zombie horde begins at 5 p.m. in the Stanley's lobby and makeup room. The Zombie Walk begins at 7 p.m. sharp. Participants will walk down Genesee Street, which will be closed off for a portion of the route. No realistic guns or dangerous weapons will be permitted.

“Waffles and Puppets” at Brewery Ommegang

“Waffles and Puppets” is returning to Brewery Ommegang in October, presented this year by the Cooperstown Rotary Club. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 25th, from 11am-5 pm. “The Puppet People” from Albany, NY will bring stories to life. Additionally, there are magic shows, craft vendors, face-painting, bounce houses, games, a balloon artist, and a book tent where children may select a book to take home. Hot, Belgian-style waffles, other food items, and Ommegang beer is available for purchase for the duration of the event. There will be the famous Silent Auction with baskets and goodies that you will not want to miss out on! Admission to “Waffles and Puppets” is free. For attendees 12 and over, a $2 donation is suggested. Tickets for the activities will be available for purchase at the entrance.
